I'm starting a new teaching series Sunday called Vital Signs. I was calling it "Re-Boot", but after bouncing the subject and the title off a few folks, I came to the conclusion that it was a dumb title.
The Acts 2&4 community of faith (called a church in Scripture) was powerful in their experience of God and their influence on the community around them. The churches described in Rev. 2&3 were in trouble (5 out of 7). They received warnings from God and needed to be reminded of very important things. Their vital signs were troubling.
I want us to look at the vital signs of a vibrant, healthy, missional church and see how we become one.
